Manan is set to graduate in 2023 with a BS in Bioinformatics along with a minor in Computer Science. In lab, he works with RNA from retinal neurons, which includes RNA extractions, maintenance, sequencing, and analysis. He works with a group of other lab members to develop scripts and workflows in Python to generate useful figures for publications. After obtaining his undergraduate degree, Manan is looking into pursuing a masters in Bioinformatics and eventually finding a job in industry.
Outside of lab, Manan enjoys hiking, watching Padres games, and streaming on Twitch!
