Kevin Mazo

Kevin is a UCSD graduate with a B.S. in Neurobiology, and he is currently working on his Masters. His research interests include the role of the Let 7 family of miRNA in retinal development as well as the role of microglia in retinal degeneration. Kevin’s future career ambitions include earning a Ph.D. and becoming a university professor. In the future he wants to focus on dementia research.

Outside of lab, Kevin enjoys volunteering with Alzheimer’s San Diego, watching sports, and playing board games.
