Kavitha Thirumaran

Kavitha is a UC San Diego senior majoring in Molecular and Cell Biology with a minor in Human Rights and Immigration. Kavitha’s research project involves producing growth factors to affect stem cell proliferation. She is also interested in learning bioinformatics skills and pharmacology basics.

Outside of lab, Kavitha enjoys playing basketball with friends, exploring San Diego beaches, and watching movies!
