On April 6, 2018, the County of San Diego presented the Shiley Eye Institute EyeMobile for Children at UC San Diego with the Live Well San Diego 2018 Public Health Champion Award for an organization. The honor recognizes the outstanding services provided to San Diego County children since 2000.
