In the time of COVID, one of the things that I miss the most is attending conferences and getting to meet in person with colleagues and collaborators! However, it has been an interesting experience to learn how to network and engage with others in virtual conference formats. I was very lucky this fall to speak at both the American Academy of Ophthalmology annual meeting, and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology conference on big data. I’ve made videos of my lectures available in the presentations tab of the website, so anyone can access the content! That’s certainly an upside of this — being able to share work with a broader audience. Hope you enjoy the presentations!
